Mass Timber Technologies (MTT) is a timber prefabrication company, specialising in the manufacture and supply of large scale, complex building components for use in construction applications. At our facility in Johannesburg, raw lumber is graded, shaped, pressed and robotically cut to the highest quality and accuracy standards.
We offer a wide range of structural mass timber solutions in Cross-laminated Timber (CLT) as well as Glue-laminated Timber (GLT) beams and columns.

For a complex international project, like Cheichei, BIM was essential to effectively communicate between project partners around the world. In fact, for the first building in the precinct, the entire DfMA, coordination and production took place without the team meeting in person.

We are happy to share our commission for another first-floor addition, this time in picturesque Hout Bay. MTT will be supplying CLT and GLT for additions to a house and studio. Engineered timber parts will be flat-packed and shipped to the Cape, for rapid and l low impact assembly.
