Mass Timber Technologies (MTT) is a timber prefabrication company, specialising in the manufacture and supply of large scale, complex building components for use in construction applications. At our facility in Johannesburg, raw lumber is graded, shaped, pressed and robotically cut to the highest quality and accuracy standards.
We offer a wide range of structural mass timber solutions in Cross-laminated Timber (CLT) as well as Glue-laminated Timber (GLT) beams and columns.

Earlier this year we provided a few CLT panels for our industry partners at York Timbers . The little structure houses green energy infrastructure for the solar installation at one of their plants, making this a sustainability double win!
Prefabrication of the GLT posts, rafters and beams for University of Zululand's new engineering building was recently completed. More than 100 masstimber parts, specially treated for coastal conditions, will be making their way down to Richards Bay soon.
