At our facility in Johannesburg, raw lumber is graded, shaped, pressed and robotically cut to the highest quality and accuracy standards.
We offer a wide range of structural mass timber solutions in Cross-laminated Timber (CLT) as well as Glue-laminated Timber (GLT) beams and columns.

Tuesday 12 September 2023, was the Inaugural Timber Construction Conference, hosted by the Timber Chair from the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria. The Conference saw international speakers, CEOs and industry leaders come together to share insights and grow industry connections. Highlights for MTT were Marcus van der Hoven's compelling keynote as well as the RAW Modular Nano Unit, made from MTT Cross-laminated Timber.
We are pleased to share our participation in the new University of Zululand campus buildings being developed in Richards Bay. In the new engineering building, MTT is supporting Earthworld Architects & Interiors, the professional team and the project team through consultation, detailing and supply of glue-laminated timber. A large number of intricately detailed posts, rafters and beams will add a natural and robust architectural quality to the new educational space.
In 2021 BOXA Possibilities , Mass Timber Technologies and Sustainabuild projects completed a multi-use space and ablution building for Skateistan. Despite the tough inner-city environment and high-intensity use, the BOXA units are ageing well and continue to provide a high-quality teaching and learning space for young children and teens.
