At our facility in Johannesburg, raw lumber is graded, shaped, pressed and robotically cut to the highest quality and accuracy standards.
We offer a wide range of structural mass timber solutions in Cross-laminated Timber (CLT) as well as Glue-laminated Timber (GLT) beams and columns.

A small but impactful CLT first-floor addition in Johannesburg. The use of engineered timber in this alteration showcases its potential as a low impact, high performance building solution. With rapid assembly and minimal disruption to the client, prefabrication played a key role in reducing construction time and environmental impact.
MTT are thrilled to have hosted Tafadzwa Nyanzunda - Kadzombe and Tsholofelo Motaung from the DTICs forestry industries team for a tour of our mass timber manufacturing facilities. DTIC are doing great work in capacity building for timber related manufacturing
MTT assisted Innate homes in delivering one of their Anima prefabricated responses for Decorex Africa. Anima's amenities are micro units for working, sleeping or bathing. The asymmetrical roof is a great demonstration of the complex geometries that are possible with cross-laminated timber.
